MORE than 40 years after staging its first production, a newly-refurbished Ramsbottom theatre is ready to reopen. Guests will join founding members when they cut the ribbon to officially launch the £400,000 redevelopment of the Theatre Royal on December 4. The Players will perform pieces from their current production The Circle, by Somerset Maugham, to an invited audience, while the Youth Theatre will perform scenes from Snow White.
